Apparently there are plenty enough food markets in London and I’m not complaining at all. I went to a couple of them already and the first one I will write about is Borough Market. I went to Borough market before but then there was no market (small detail, make sure you’ll check the time if you go there!), so I went back when the market was there and oh how I loved it. The market is in some sort of venue so you’ll be covered if it starts raining.
There are all sorts of food, both from British and International source. There are lots of breads, vegetables, cheeses, olives and so on. It’s hard to choose what you want to eat.
Of course, a market full of good quality food sounds good enough already but it’s also the entire atmosphere that makes Borough Market such a nice place. It’s kinda like a food festival, but smaller. People are laughing, having fun and enjoying their meals, it’s such a good vibe.
I went there with my aunt who came to visit me and we bought some cheese, olives and bread. The producers where all so nice and it’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in London. And also a good thing: you won’t need your umbrella!
